Julie

Educated to advanced level in human biology and chemistry and has obtained a diploma in anatomy and physiology. Julie has managed Punktured from the start and is the primary trainer of new apprentices, she's handed over the reigns to retrain as an embalmer.

Through Punktured's excellent reputation Julie has been interviewed in numerous magazines (including the Brighton Source) and documentaries; The Times, Radio 1, local radio, Channel 4, BBC3 and parent channel TV. Most of Punktureds staff also stared in a Channel 4 i-dent. She has written articles on body piercing for various magazines and fanzines. Julie even works as a body jewellery consultant and advices midwives on the latest pregancy bars!

Julie has also modelled fetish clothing for magazines, catalogues and catwalks. She has been a podium dancer on 'Eastenders' and worked as Björk's body double in her 'Pagan Poetry' music video (see below).
