Nostril Piercing Information

Can be pierced with a BCR or stud.

Usually pierced on the meateus of the nose (the bobble) as bloody supply is rich in this area.

The inner muscosal surface of the nose cannot be disinfected and harbours pathogenic organisms. If this surface of the nose is pierced, these organisms can enter the tissue and cause to an ingection which may ultimately lead to scarring.
